Dhaka, June 13:- Assistant Professor of Mymensingh Medical College Dr. Mohammed Amdad Ullah Khan, who is infected with coronavirus, was emergency transferred from Mymensingh to Dhaka on Saturday (13-06-2020) by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force.

Bangladesh Air Force has been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance in aid to civil power under Bangladesh Armed Forces. In line with this, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc provided necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) mission. Assistant Professor of Mymensingh Medical College Dr Mohammed Amdad Ullah Khan, who was undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, was emergency flown to Dhaka for better treatment by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force due to infected Coronavirus. At the same time, Dr. Shovan Rahman and Dr. Marium Akter were also flown to Dhaka by the same helicopter. Later, he was taken to Sheikh Russel Gastro Liver Institute & Hospital, Mohakhali, Dhaka for better treatment.
