BANGLADESH AIR FORCE CHIEF DEPARTS FOR CANADA

Dhaka, 13 June:- Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, BBP, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc along with his spouse and three entourages left Dhaka for Canada on Sunday (12-06-2022) for a eight-days official visit. He left the country at the invitation of Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force Lieutenant General A.D. Meinzinger.

 

During visit, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will call on Presdent and CEO of Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) Mr. Bobby Kwon and Assistant Deputy Minister of Global Affairs, Canada Mr. Paul Thoppil. They will exchange views on bilateral issues of mutual interests. Chief of Air Staff will visit Aerospace engineering and maintenance institute  ‘CASCADE Aerospace’, ‘MAXCRAFT Avionics Facilities’ and ‘HELIWELDERS Canada Facility’. During this visit, he will observe the progress of BAF C-130B aircraft which is now under overhauling process at ‘CASCADE Aerospace’.

 

Besides, he will also visit ‘Bell Helicopter Facility’ and ‘Advantech Wireless Technology Ltd Facility’ at Ottawa. It is expected that the visit of Chief of Air Staff will play a vital role in regards of maintenance of BAF aircrafts and helicopters as well as expand the scope of mutual cooperation in professional sectors.

 

Mentionble that Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force is scheduled to return home on 23-06-2022.
