BANGLADESH AIR FORCE CONTINUES HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE IN CORONA PANDEMIC

Dhaka, May 02: On the occasion of Celebrating Golden Jubilee of Independence, Bangladesh Air Force is continuing various humanitarian activities including distribution of relief goods, free medical services and Covid-19 vaccine to the general people by different BAF Bases during Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic with the direction of Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc as part of humanitarian responsibility. In line with this, relief materials were distributed among the 508 (Five Hundred Eight) needy and poor families of the adjacent area of BAF Base Bangabandhu, Kurmitola, Dhaka on Sunday (02-05-2021).

Relief materials were distributed in presence of Officer Commanding of Administration Wing of BAF Base Bangabandhu including other BAF Officers by following proper hygiene rules and maintaining the provision of social distancing. Besides, relief materials were also distributed among the poor and helpless families of the adjacent area of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur, Tangail following proper hygiene rules and maintaining the provision of social distancing. Officer Commanding of Maintenance Wing of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur including other BAF Officers were present during the relief distribution.

It is mentioned that Bangladesh Air Force is continuing to provide free medicine and healthcare services through Covid-19 Primary Symptom Diagnosis & Counseling Center and Special Medical Camps at various BAF Bases as well as providing humanitarian assistance to the general people during the Corona pandemic. Bangladesh Air Force is by the side of the general people through various activities to deal with any kind of national disaster and prevent coronavirus.
