Dhaka, October 31:- Bangladesh Army Team clinched the Inter-Service Hockey title which concluded at Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium on Thursday (31-10-2019) under the arrangement of Bangladesh Air Force. Bangladesh Navy team became runner-up.
Bangladesh Army team defeated Bangladesh Navy team by 5-3 goals in tie breaker. The match was 2-2 draw in scheduled time.Lance Corporal Ahsan of Bangladesh Army was adjudged the best player of the competition.
Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Md Shafiqul Alam, OSP, BSP. ndc, fawc, psc witnessed the final match and distributed prizes as the chief guest. Among others, Officers of three services and other members were present on the occasion.
