FORMER MAYOR OF SYLHET CITY CORPORATION BADAR UDDIN AHMED KAMRAN TRANSFERRED FROM SYLHET TO DHAKA CMH BY BANGLADESH AIR FORCE HELICOPTER DUE TO CORONAVIRUS POSITIVE

Dhaka, June 07:- Former Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation and Central Committee Member of Awami League, Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran, who is infected with coronavirus, was emergency transferred from Sylhet to Dhaka on Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Sunday (07-06-2020) by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force.

Bangladesh Air Force has been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance in aid to civil power under Bangladesh Armed Forces. In line with this, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc provided necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) mission. Former Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation and Central Committee Member of Awami League, Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran, was emergency flown to Osmani International Airport, Sylhet to Dhaka for better treatment by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force due to Coronavirus positive. At the same time, Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran’s wife Mrs Asma Kamran, son Dr Arman Ahmed Shiplu and his brother Mr Anam Ahmed were also flown to Dhaka by the same helicopter. Later, he was taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka for better treatment.
