GRADUATION DINNER OF NATIONAL DEFENCE COURSE AND ARMED FORCES WAR COURSE -2022 HELD

Dhaka, 26 November 2022: Graduation Dinner of National Defence Course 2022 and Armed Forces War Course 2022 was held at Banquet Hall, Army Multipurpose Complex, Dhaka Cantonment on 26 November 2022. Commandant National Defence College Lieutenant General Md Akbar Hossain, SBP, BSP, SUP(BAR), afwc, psc, G+, PhD graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

A Chief guest Commandant congratulated all course members of National Defence Course 2022 and Armed Forces War Course 2022 for successful completion of the courses and expressed thanks to the faculty members and staff officers of the college for their relentless hard work in making the courses successful. Commandant also made special mention about the patronization and kind direction of Hon’ble PM (Who is also the Chairperson of the Governing Body of NDC) for the progress and development of National Defence College.

The Commandant urged all course members to contribute in upholding the constitutional responsibility in order to strengthen national security and pursue sustainable development of Bangladesh. He earnestly solicited all course members to continue the struggle to realize the dreams of the Father of the Nation. He also thanked the course members for their enthusiastic involvement in all the programs of the course.

The Senior Course Members as representative of Military Services, Civil Services and Allied Countries of National Defence Course and Armed Forces War Course spoke on this occasion. They thanked the Commandant, faculty members, resource personnel and all staff officers of National Defence College for their continuous support and cooperation to make the courses successful.

It’s worth mentioning here that this year the National Defence Course 2022 comprises of thirty three (33) Brigadier Generals from Bangladesh Army, five (05) Commodores and one (01) Captain from Bangladesh Navy, six (06) Air Commodores from Bangladesh Air Force. Beside Armed Forces Officers, one (01) Additional Secretary, nine (09) Joint Secretaries from Administration and other cadres of Civil Services, one (01) Director General from Foreign Service and two (02) Deputy Inspector General from Bangladesh Police participated in the course. Thirty (30) overseas course members of the rank of Colonel/Brigadier General and equivalent from 17 friendly countries have also participated in National Defence Course 2022.

On the other hand, Armed Forces War Course 2022 comprised of three (03) Colonels and forty (40) Lieutenant Colonels from Bangladesh Army, two (02) Captains and eight (08) Commanders from Bangladesh Navy and six (06) Group Captains and one (01) Wing Commander from Bangladesh Air Force.
