Dhaka, 02 January 2019: The Opening Convocation & Fresher’s Reception-2019 for the newly-enrolled students of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) held at its campus on Wednesday (02-01-2019) . BUP Vice Chancellor Maj Gen Md Emdad-Ul-Bari, ndc, psc, was present as Chief guest.
At the beginning of the ceremony, selected representatives carry faculty flags in the front while Deans, Other Senior Officers and Faculty Members of respective faculty have their seats through flag procession and fanfare bearing. BUP Registrar Brig Gen Md Mahboob Sarwar, ndc, afwc, psc, G+ delivered his welcome speech.
Vice Chancellor alluded in his speech various University disciplines and also encouraged the students to attentive to their study to contribute in the on going development process of Bangladesh. It is noted that the programme was organized for newly enrolled 1250 students of 16 departments under 4 faculties of BUP.
Moreover, Professor of BUP Bangabandhu Chair, Dr. Syed Anwar Husain and BUP Pro-VC Professor M Abul Kashem Mozumder, PhD. spoke on the programme.
Among others, BUP High officials, Faculty Members, Fresher’s and their guardians were also present at the programme.
