Dhaka, 16 March: National Defence College (NDC) at Mirpur Cantonment organised a Panel Discussion on “Life of Bangabandhu” to mark the birth centenary of the Greatest Bengali of All Time and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The session was moderated by Mr.Mafidul Hoque, Board of Trustee, Liberation War Museum. Professor Shamsuzzaman Khan, Former Director General of Bangla Academy, Mr.Muhammad Zamir, Former Ambassador and Dr.Atiur Rahman, Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank presented keynote papers on “Bangabandhu as Politician”, “Bangabandhu as Statesman” and “Bangabandhu as Leader” respectively. The discourse highlighted different aspects of the Life of Bangabandhu such as his political career, his statesmanship, his visionary leadership etc. which drew attention of the audience and inspired the future leaders.
Commandant NDC, Lieutenant General Sheikh Mamun Khaled, Faculty Members and Course Members of National Defence Course 2020 were present at the session.
